Engineering 1–450: Leveling (WotLK)
Upgrading Engineering from 1 to 450 on WotLK 3.3.5a: ore, stones and parts, plus profession bonuses - points, bombs and a helicopter.
Briefly
Engineer is the most “fun” profession: augmented glasses on the head, bombs, jumping boots (Nitro Boosts), repair bots and the Mekgineer’s Chopper/Flying Machine mount. For maximum you need both ore and stone.

- Rough Blasting Powder, Handful of Copper Bolts, Rough Boomstick - copper and some.
120–175
- Bronze Framework, Explosive Sheep, Iron Grenade.
175–230
- Solid Blasting Powder, Ice Deflector, Mithril Tube.
230–300
- Thorium Widget, Thorium Shells, Mithril Mechanical Dragonling.
300–375
- Fel Iron Casing, Adamantite Frame, Felsteel Boomstick.
375–450
- Handful of Cobalt Bolts, Saronite Bomb, Volatile Blasting Trigger, ending with Bolt Gun / Global Thermal Sapper Charge.
Tips
- Smelt the ore yourself (you need Mining) or buy ingots in bulk.
- Don't throw away "junk" bolts/parts - they are needed in the following ranges.
