Jewelcrafting 1–450: leveling up (WotLK)

Upgrading Jewelry from 1 to 450 on WotLK 3.3.5a: ore, stones and prospection, as well as a bonus - Dragon’s Eyes for 3 stones.

Briefly

The jeweler cuts stones, makes necklaces/rings and “dragon eyes”. Prospecting of ore produces stones - the main source. Combines with Mining.

Materials

  • Copper/Tin - entry level stones - 1–120
  • Iron/Mithril - 120–240
  • Thorium - 240–300
  • Fel Iron/Adamantite - 300–375
  • Cobalt/Saronite - 375–450

Pumping by segments

1–50

  • Delicate Copper Wire, Rough Stone Statue - copper.

50–150

  • Tigerseye/Malachite-rings, Bronze Setting, Ornate Setting.

150–250

  • Iron/Mithril earrings and necklaces, Mithril Filament.

250–300

  • Thorium Setting, Truesilver stones, Citrine rings.

300–375

  • Fel Iron-stones, Adamantite-things, “unusual” BC stones.

375–450

  • Cobalt/Saronite items, prospection of Saronite, finale - on “blue”/“purple” WotLK stones.

Tips

  • Prospect all excess ore - stones are cheaper than ingots.
  • Insert Dragon’s Eye into your items: +39 to the “main” stat (strong).

Summary

Jewelry is expensive at the beginning and profitable at the end - the raid always needs stones.
