Warrior: complete guide - tank, fighter and PvP

The warrior is the most “honest” class in WoW: no magic, only stances, rage and cooldowns. In a raid, he is either an impenetrable tank or the main source of physical damage.
Specializations
- Arms — PvP specialization: fatal blows, bleeds, Bladestorm. In a raid it is inferior to rage in terms of damage, but in PvP it keeps the target under constant pressure.
- Fury — top in terms of damage in PvE: fast rotation, a lot of rage, strong bursts under “Bloody Rage”. For PvP it is weaker due to the lack of defensive mechanics.
- Protection — a tank with the best active mitigate: blocking with a shield, “Stand-by defense,” “Reflecting spells.”
What matters most
For a warrior, damage directly depends on how much rage you generate. Therefore: keep the attack speed buff on yourself, don’t waste “Heroic Strike” and keep an eye on the cooldowns “Rekless” / “Blood Fury” - they should always be connected with raid buffs (heroism, trinkets).
PvP
A warrior in PvP is about pressure and control: Pounce, Stunning Strike, Disarm. Against casters, it is critical to remove the control with “Blind Defense” in time. Classic combinations - warrior + healer (paladin, priest, shaman).
Suitable for
If you like direct combat, want to be both a tank and a fighter, and are not afraid to deal with resources, a warrior is an excellent choice for your first game. On classic servers, a tank warrior is one of the most popular classes in a raid.
