Skinning 1–450: leveling up (WotLK)

How to quickly raise Skinning to 450 on WotLK 3.3.5a and why it is the easiest profession to start.

Briefly

Skinning removes the skin from killed animals, gives Master of Anatomy (+crit) and feeds Leatherworking. Swings passively while you play.

Leveling up by segments and zones

1–75

• Light/Medium Leather - from wolves/boars in starting zones.

75–150

• Medium/Heavy Leather - Steppes, Ash Forest.

150–225

• Heavy/Thick Leather - Highlands, Feralas.

225–300

• Thick/Rugged Leather - Un'Goro, Burning Steppes.

300–375

• Knothide Leather - Outland.

375–450

• Borean Leather, Arctic Fur - Northrend (Boreas, Dragonblight).

Tips

• Animals are everywhere - take this profession to start and skin “along the way.”
• Master of Anatomy provides useful crit to all classes.
