Retail (current WoW): features and approach

Retail is the current version of WoW with seasons, Mythic+ and fast pace. It is important to understand the structure of the progression here, otherwise it is easy to “drown” in the systems.

How progression works

• Levels and “reputation” - main path; After the maximum level, the “endgame” begins.
• Mythic+ — dungeons with keys: the higher the key, the stronger the rewards and the more complex the mechanics.
• Raids in 4 difficulties: LFR → Normal → Heroic → Mythic.
• Seasons: Dungeon sets and rewards change every few months.

Where to start

Level up, complete the story campaign, get basic equipment through world quests and LFR. Then look for a group in low level keys - this is the fastest way to equipment.

PvP

PvP has a separate rating and equipment normalization. To start: “Solo Shuffle” (quick 3v3 battles) and battlefields.
