The Burning Crusade 2.4.3: version features

TBC is the version where arenas, “flying” mounts and Outland appeared. Many consider it the best balance between "old" and "new" WoW.

What appeared

• Arena 2v2/3v3/5v5 with ratings and weekly points - the basis of modern PvP.
• Flying mounts (need level 70 and purchase of “flight”).
• New races: draenei (Alliance) and blood elves (Horde).
• Jewelry - a new profession critical for stones.

Leveling up 60–70

Through the Dark Portal → Hellfire Peninsula → Zangarmarsh → Terokkar Forest → Nagrand. Then you can go to Northrend after reaching 68, but it is better to finish 70 in Outland.

PvP links

Classics: warrior + healer (druid/paladin), “WLD” (warrior/lock/druid), mage + horns. Arena in TBC is about control and positioning, and not about “burst in 3 seconds.”

Suitable for

If you want PvP with a rating, but don’t like modern speeds, TBC is the perfect compromise.
